If you feel the tiresome lyrics of  the "These boots are made for walking" song resonates with you right now, it's probably because the annual Cape Times Cape Town Big Walk is on the horizon. This is a sign that you need to grab your Hi-Tecs, Salomons, or Tommy "tekkies" and start training for this popular annual event. If walking the full 80 km feels like an unattainable goal, then sign-up for one of the shorter routes such as the 25 km walk from Fish Hoek Beach to Rhodes High in Mowbray.
