Chilled out Snorkelling in Simonstown

Snorkelling at Windmill Beach and beyond... in Greater Cape Town

We've stumbled across a fantastic website that provides virtual 360 scenic tours of the Cape! We've embedded one of their virtual tours as an example. This is actually the Snoozing team's favourite snorkelling spot in Cape Town.
Windmill Beach is located right next to Boulders Beach and is great for family style snorkelling. If you drive further along there are even more hidden snorkel spots which include A-frame and even Millers Point where you can see "cow sharks".

To get to Windmill Beach drive through Simonstown, take the left to Boulders Beach and just before you hit the big parking lot take a right and drive to the end of the Cul-de-sac. Park there and enter the beach through a little wooden gate.

It's one of my favourite beaches. Sheltered, warm, safe and an array of sea life !!
